FAQ's

COMMON QUESTIONS:

  1. Do we own any pets? No. You'll never have to worry about any pet hair or anything unsanitary. Customer safety and satisfaction is our first priority. We use gloves, hair coverings, and aprons to keep your food safe. As well as maintain proper hygiene and kitchen sanitation. We invest in antibacterial hand soaps, antibacterial bodywash, and antibacterial/ antimicrobial surface cleaners. We prepare foods with stainless steel utensils seperate from our own and store supplies in their own supply closet. Frozen foods and meats are purchased no more than one (1) week in advance and stored in their own deep freezer. Refrigerated foods are typically purchased the same day or no more than 24 hours in advance. 
  2. Do you deliver? If you are very close by and we are able to leave to deliver your order, we may consider it. If we deliver your order, there will be a $2 delivery fee. Dishes are hand rinsed and then washed in the dishwasher on the highest heat setting with Finish Powerball Quantum Pods.
  3. Can I pay with my card? Yes, you can pay with your card via card reader or on this website. Please note that if you pre-order/ pre-pay via our website and you do not arrive to pick up your order within one (1) hour after it has been prepared, you will receive a gift card for store credit within seventy-two (72) hours. We do not issue any refunds. We will keep your order at food safe temperatures for one (1) hour only. If one (1) hour has passed, we will dispose of your order. We will not re-make your order without full payment. It is highly recommended that you pre-order up to 24 hours prior to the time we will be serving meals. This helps us know how much supplies we may need.
  4. What if I don't make it to pick up my order or I am too late to pick it up? See the answer to question three (3) above.
  5. Where are you located? We reserve different areas around Madison, Wi and Chicago, IL to put up our tent. The best thing to do is call us, text us, or email us via the contact form on this website after we have posted what we will be serving next.
  6. What are your hours? Chi-Italy customer service is available from 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM. If we are serving late meals we will remain available for customer service during those extended hours. We will also be available for customer service during the times we open early on the days we serve breakfast meals. The best way to always know when, where, and what we are serving is to join our email list, sign up for our SMS alerts, or create a customer account.
